The beautiful Hedlow Creek

While the wildlife on the floodplain varies with the season, there is always a focus on Hedlow Creek where the swans and wild ducks are content to feed peacefully in the shade of the weeping bottlebrush.

This particular section of Hedlow Creek is some eight kilometres long and is ideal for fishing, (now catching barramundi off our jetty), bird watching, canoeing, or a cool swim on a hot Central Queensland afternoon.
